Come ready to be tested, so bring clothes you are happy exercising in including footwear you are happy jumping in.
At Reflex-18 in Colchester, your VALD Performance Testing session is delivered by an expert clinician trained in using both the Dynamo handheld dynamometer and ForceDecks force plates. Each session is tailored to your personal goals — whether that’s returning to sport, improving performance, or tracking recovery progress.
We start with a short consultation to understand your history, previous injuries, and what you want to achieve from the session. From there, your clinician will carry out a brief movement screen, assessing posture, joint range of motion, and muscle length where relevant.
The testing then begins:
After testing, we’ll sit down with you to review your results in detail, explain what the data means, and provide tailored recommendations. You’ll also receive a copy of your performance data via the Move Health app, so you can track your progress and share it with coaches or therapists.
This isn’t guesswork — it’s objective, high-performance insight to help you move better, perform better, and stay injury-free.
